CLEAN stands for Community-Labor-Environmental Action Network. It is a diverse coalition of nonprofit organizations committed to improving the lives of working families in greater Los Angeles.

Victory for Isabel – UC Davis member being denied medical treatment

Dear UAW 2865 Members,

Today we received good news from Isabel Call, the UCD grad student who was being denied proper cancer treatment by UCSHIP/Anthem. Anthem’s parent company has told Isabel that they will cover the cost of the treatment that she both needs and deserves.

Thousands of people signed the petition and helped raise awareness about Isabel’s cause.
