Dear members of the UC Student Workers Union,

Recently, you may have received an update on our contract negotiations from Duane Duckett, Vice President of UC Labor Relations.  Duckett’s email presents an incomplete, and in some instances untrue picture of the current state of bargaining.  We’ve put together here a more complete and accurate summary of the current state of contract negotiations between our union and UC management.

UAW Local 2865 Resolution on proposed changes to the International Strike Fund

Whereas, the UAW International Executive Board (IEB) recommended the half-hour dues increase of all members, to be proposed at the 36th Constitutional Convention of UAW;

May Day Holiday Brings Calls for Resignation of UC President Janet Napolitano – Bay Area Indymedia
