Nominations open March 30, 2018–acceptances must be received online, by mail, or email no later than April 6, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
All UAW Local 2865 members in good standing continuously for one (1) year prior to accepting nomination are automatically nominated* for the following Executive Board positions:
- Northern Vice President
- Southern Vice President
- Financial Secretary
- Recording Secretary
All UAW Local 2865 members in good standing continuously for ninety (90) days prior to accepting nomination are automatically nominated* for the following Joint Council positions at their respective campuses.

- Executive Board and Joint Council officers serve terms from the April 2018 Vacancy Election until the 2019 Biennial Election.
- All UAW Local 2865 members in good standing continuously for one (1) year prior to accepting nomination are also automatically nominated for the following delegates to the UAW International Constitutional Convention located in Detroit, MI: June 10-14, 2018.

The nomination period opens March 30, 2018, and acceptances must be received online, by mail, or email no later than April 6, 2018 – 5:00 pm.
Please include your name, department, e-mail, phone number, and position for which you are accepting a nomination.
Members accepting nomination may submit a candidate statement (up to 500 words) that must be received by the nomination deadline (April 6, 2018, at 5:00 pm.). Statements will be posted on our website no later than April 17, 2018, and will be made available at the polls.
