Letter to Turkish Ambassador in Support of Academic Freedom

The Joint Council of UAW 2865 has written a letter in support of academics and academic freedom in Turkey. Addressed to Ambassador Serdar Kılıç, in Washington, D.C., the letter addresses concerns that recent detainment of academics encourages a “climate of resentment of academics.” The letter calls on “the government of Turkey to end these attacks on academic freedom.”
